At RedLantern, it would be a good idea to get these things sorted out. No one wants to be the guy on the dating site at 35, not to say this would/could happen but I'd bet that 90% of the married guys here would say it's a worthwhile investment of time learning how to communicate better with the chick your screwing. Shagging has a strange way of messing everything up.

I agree. Overall I think we communicate well - discuss what and why we are feeling when we have disagreements.

The wedding is just an area where our values differ. I realize that part of being married is occasionally having to compromise one's personal values in the interest of preserving the union. Of course if your personal values differ too much, it just might not be a good fit, but in our case the wedding seems to be an exceptional case. Weddings make people crazy.

the easiest weddings are for those who don't have families

EMS seriously laughed at me when I asked if the two XXL pairs they had was all that was left.

Ugh. I just ordered some online hoping to hedge my bets. I went with overnight delivery. I'll go look tonight at the store. This is annoying.

Hope you have better luck than I did!

ugh, baby was sick, wife is sick, and I'm getting there myself. Normally I kick these things pretty quickly, though. Should be fine in a few days.

Although this is funny (and I don't want to do up another post elsewhere just to say this): I think it's charming in a horrifyingly awkward way when newbs come to MC and immediately start up with the High Dudgeon over someone else's odd look or ill-fitting suit. okay, I get it, you want to fit in. Why, I have no idea, but good effort, good show chap.

refuah shelayma, thomas!

and yes, that is always humorous.

also, anyone who does not have online billpay set up does not deserve for their bills to be paid to them.

Bloody hell it's Valentine's tomorrow and for the first time in years I'm not spending it travelling and drowning myself at a hotel bar. I have an idea to work late and spend it with a nice bottle at work. Even my clubs are doing couples events so I don't know where to hide and can't see myself staying in the flat on a Thursday.

as I've always said: check in a hotel, meng... preferably one with a heated pool!

and who's the noob?

++++

pissing me off today:

- my employee with the brain tumor's gotta have her biopsy done by march. and its gonna cost her more than what she can afford. me and my co-equal here are thinking of helping her out, since she's like family to us and all that, with a little hand out. I'm kinda have this impression she's about to give up if she can't fund the operation... but my budget's tight atm with the house and a new business, so shit.... PLUS its looking like the people we work for aren't inclined to help out either, which is fucking hilarious because they are active in their fucking charity bullshit crap and yet they're so fucking tight with this.

- oh, and the new business suffered a setback; a potential supplier don't wanna do business yet with us. fucker.

- and speaking of which, so I'm looking for leads for a sales manager that I'm gonna train and all, and someone texted me this yesterday, here is his message verbatim:

Good afternoon Mr. (acidboy)! This is(sic) XXX XXX, the friend of XXX XXX. I hope this isn't a bad time but she mentioned to me that you were hiring for a managerial position for a (our product) you were bringing and told me to text you. (I did not do that, btw -acidboy)

I would just like to know the details of this position because it has certainly caught my interest although I am currently managing my families business and was hoping for a part time position. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you and good day.

I've been getting aggressive nosebleeds recently. 20+ mins at a time and they happen at the worst times - guitar lesson, dinner, driving (driving a stick plus not bleeding everywhere is tricky). Latest one now at 4am and its been going on for so long I'm nauseous. Doc says its humidity... Never had it this bad though.

Stained new RRLs too ffffuuuu.gif

God dammit. Amazon just botched my overnight shipping order. Four of my last five orders have not met their delivery time. I'm gonna send Bezos an email and tell him who he's dealing with.
