I had bad shin splints when I first moved to New York. I think it was getting used to all of the walking. After like a year it went away.

As for me, I got back from Carnegie Hall very late last night and decided to drink some Cab Franc anyway. Feeling a bit rough today. Got a lot done though this morning.

Hope you can find some this late in the season. I made that mistake a couple of years ago and had to call four or five places to find some, and ended up having to settle for some shitty ones that don't quite fit me.

Nah. My uric acid is just fine and my great toes are pleasingly pain free.

This started to flair up when I bought shoes designed to help with my under pronation. My right leg has had it rough, a gory femur fracture as a kid and my right foot was initially bent inwards at the midway point due to my mother being a midget. That was corrected with shoes as a tyke but still my right leg has had its problems. So I am wondering if these shoes, that fixed my right foot/leg problems, created one for my other leg. I'm going to wear my old shoes on my left food and my new ones on my right when I treadmill this weekend.

Speaking of which not getting my miles in for the last few days is bugging me.

I'm going to that big REI place in Soho. If they don't have ski pants I'll be pretty pissed. My first worry was that there will be too many options, and I'll have some overzealous douche trying to convince me I need a $200 pair.

Seriously, call ahead. This was before the REI opened, but I went to EMS, the North Face store, the Patagonia store, and ended up buying some shitty pants from Paragon. This was also in February when this happened. You might also have trouble because we just got all that snow, so people may have come in and snatched up whatever was left.

EMS seriously laughed at me when I asked if the two XXL pairs they had was all that was left.

Girl at work. She's an utterly ridiculous human being. Everything is an extreme. She is such a pessimist and I am sick of hearing her bullshit. Also, she has stupid opinions with absurd reasoning for them. It literally makes me crazy. She wants to leave the company and I can't wait until the day she does.
