Ugh. This sucks. We went through it for pretty much the entirety of 2011. LowerCaseG started daycare that January, and it was just one illness after another for the entire family for a year. Prior to having a child in daycare, MrsG and I didn't get sick very often at all. We got a cold every 1-1.5 years or so, and if one of us got sick twice in the same year it was a "bad" year. During '11 there were
months where we got sick more than we did in most years. That said, it does get dramatically better once the kids have had a year of being exposed to all the germs. They still get sick pretty frequently, especially with runny noses and such, but it's not nearly as relentless. Plus, you'll get much better at fighting it, so you won't catch nearly as much from them.
Good luck. Norovirus is pure misery. If there really is a Hell, I'm pretty sure it's a perpetual norovirus infection.
