Seriously. And they came out ahead--I'm 100% sure that cabbage costs less than the chicken breast it replaced.

Assholes.

Working from home in bed and PJs is great.

Working from home in bed and PJs while fielding a three hour conference call, however, is not.

Relevant: Gawker calling Weather.com to task over it's sensationalism.

I usually won't read Gawker, but this made me smile.

Maybe this should go in the "Things making you happy" thread...

One of the brains behind the name list told The New York Times that "Nemo" was chosen primarily because it's a Latin word ("no one") and secondarily because Captain Nemo, from Verne's "Twenty Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea," was a charismatic, deranged madman ("a pretty tough, fierce guy").

In 2013, calling a storm "Nemo" and telling everyone it's not named after the clownfish who lost himself and found our love is like naming your son "Martin Luther King," and telling everyone he's named after Martin Luther King, Sr

My first thought at Nemo was 20,000 Leagues. Kirk Douglas was great in that. Still sing those songs sometimes.

A whale of a tale or two.

Loved that movie when I was a kid. James Mason FTW though.

However gotta admit it was my second thought.
