I never carried cash until I moved to New York where seemingly no one takes cards.

I hate spending it though because I never know where it all goes. At least with plastic, I know exactly where my money went.

Last night I had that shitty dream where it's finals week and you forget which classes you're enrolled in because you never went. Then you find out it's biology and English and have 80 books to read before tomorrow. Then I woke up in relief. But that one always gets me.

Two decades out from undergrad and I still occasionally have that dream. I'm really pissed at myself for working too much/drinking too much and not going to class/keeping up with work.

Oddly enough I stopped getting that one when I started teaching classes instead of taking them. Hasn't popped back up since I started working in research either. Don't really know what to make of that.

Your putting your subconscious to rest?

Truth be told I don't know what to make of dreams. I don't read too much into them for "meaning" but I do wonder if there is something to be said for analyzing them.
