Given I'd just gotten on the road, I didn't need my lights, and I'm wondering if they assumed I had my lights on when I didn't, leading them to believe the lights they saw when I was braking were taillights, not brake lights. Also, this was after a curve where traffic has a tendency to pile up with a lot of hard braking, and they had come fairly close to rear ending me just before they told me my lights were out, so they may well have been paying so little attention that they'd confuse brake/taillights.

So, basically, my guess is "the people who told me the lights are out are idiots who don't pay nearly enough attention when they're driving."

Ah, this makes sense now. They were driving like jerks, almost hit you, then had to try to shift the blame onto you lest they feel like the jerks they were so they lied and told you your brake lights weren't working. What assholes. I know people exactly like this. I loathe them.

1 - Have someone with a Jeep drive over your cast, breaking it open.
2 - Scratch.

I got thrown over someone shoulder and landed the with a twist, which resulted in a spiral fracture in my right shin, the doctor told me I hand done a great job and then spend a couple hours figuring out whether to use screws or not, they ended on no.

I actually just got back from CM and I remembered something else I love about the place: the floor staff is, for the most part, really knowledgeable and passionate about food. They are really happy to recommend a wine, beer, cheese, coffee, whatever. and more often than not their recommendations are on point. You really can't get that at any other supermarket, other than some of the nicer Whole Foods. Of course you pay for it, and I couldn't afford to do that for all the food I buy, but it's nice when you can afford it.

My only thought is that it would have fallen out somewhere at the boxing gym but its so small its easy to miss and may have gotten swept up... basically there aren't many possessions I would be upset to lose and this is probably the only one.

Found it! It slipped out my pants into the back seat (which is always messy). Was kinda lucky to see it, too... shog[1].gif

I often make special appointments to meet students for office hours on days when I wouldn't normally be on campus. I haven't kept an exact tally, but I bet at least 70% of the time, the students don't show up. As you may have already guessed, this just happened again.

How can you not like snow? They're like little bits of MrGs and FLMs coating the world in their whiteness.
