huh? its a simple breath test. you have to at least rule it out. its the same amount of time (2 weeks) with an antibiotic(s) and acid inhibitor anyway [if positive].

if its a manifestation of stress...then even if you cut out booze, fat, and cigarettes the sheer stress will flare up the ucler anyway. better to find out/rule out a root cause then work from there.

Breath test? When he mentioned testing (was a tel. consult) I immediately thought of something in the hospital (like a family member with an ulcer years ago). So I declined on account of that.

btw, the antibiotics aversion isnt due to the time frame. I just prefer to use them as little as possible.

That's because they wipe out your natural GI flora and fauna. Part of the problem with abx is that 1) they are prescribed when they really will not be efficacious/are not needed and 2) people say they are "allergic" to them and stop taking them prior to finishing the course. This is what helps create the resistant strains of bugs.

I did try to pay but the fucking online payment kept on being rejected by two different credit cards (and I ended up getting called by my two credit card companies when both were charged over $2,000 each anyway). thats when I decided just to send a check.

*I know its kind of weird not having printed up personalized checks, but my wife and I centralized our bank accounts two years ago, and I've only had to write about 5 checks in the last 2 years. Everything else is paid by direct debit/auto payment. I never got around to have new checks printed up because the starter book was still full and I figured it was a waste not to use them. I even used one of them to buy a fucking car, but apparently its not good enough for a clerk of court in florida.
