I've gotten very little of that, thankfully.

Right now my FB feed is starting to get more of the "KEEP CALM AND..." meme that was big in London about 60-odd years ago. It's getting really, really tired now.

Mrs. A was born in England and lived there until she was 10. Somehow, she'd never heard of the Keep Calm And... meme until I filled her in on it a couple of months ago. It's weird how ubiquitous it has become over the last couple of years.

Apologies in advance for what will sound like a humblebrag.

Each year we have to document all our accomplishments in teaching, research, and service from the previous year. And each year, the system for documenting these is a little bit different. I am quite productive in all three of these areas, which means it takes me forever to fill out the damn forms. There are other ways I would prefer to spend these hours, obviously.

Wonderful, you'd be considered a triple threat in my circles. It's nice to look back over the year and realize that you've accomplished quite a bit. I hope it pays off for you at your institution.
