Got a voice mail from my vet about Genevieve's blood test results. She didn't say what they were--she told me to call her back--but her tone of voice makes me worried.

I noticed something strange/interesting. If I drink a glass of red wine on an empty stomach my stomach gets really bloated and I instantly get tired. If I drink a martini on an empty stomach my stomach feels fine. I wonder if I could be allergic to something in red wine.

this guy who works for me, who doesn't make a ton of money, had been scrimping and saving for years so that he could afford his dream car, a brand new V6 Camaro. he finally got it last month and he was as thrilled as a man can be. washed it every week, parked it away from other cars, I even caught him wiping it with a duster during a lunch break.

well, he comes home today to find his pride and joy up on cinder blocks and missing all four of its wheels. wheels were gone, the rear brake calipers were supporting the entire rear weight of the car and are likely ruined, and the blocks were right under the middle of the car, so we now fear that the weight of the car could have bent the frame.

some people don't deserve to be on this earth.

fucking people...this weekend, some asshole dragged my motorcycle (or possibly pushed with their car?) out of the way in order to make themselves a new parking spot. I was 99% sure it was the car that was still parked there when I noticed (they had the telltale beat up bumpers of an asshole who parallel parks by "feeling" their way into the spot and the car that used to be in front of me was still there). I resisted the urge to let the air out of their tires since they had already proven themselves to be an asshole and they knew what my bike looked like...and I'd like to continue parking in front of my own home.

Sometimes it seems that VET's, doctors etc. do that shit for fun.

Positive thoughts and energy coming to you both

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. Unfortunately, I got some very bad, but not entirely unexpected, news. Her kidneys are failing pretty badly and her red blood cell count is dangerously low. Also, she's been quite lethargic today and her appetite is poor. Even in the best case scenario, I don't think I'm going to have her much longer.

As some of you know, I'm sort of a weepy person. I've been doing plenty of that today.
