Today has been a pretty crappy day. The end of my teaching semester always feels to me like the beginning of the Christmas season. And I really, really dislike the Christmas season. Not because I'm a scrooge or anything, but because I always feel especially lonely this time of year.

That sucks, I remember feeling that way before Little Miss Canuker came to be. Kids change that if course. If you lived here I'd invite you to the craziness that is Christmas with 2 Little people in the house.

Genevieve just got back from the vet. They had to put her under to do blood work. When she came out of anesthesia, she was growling mad. That's my girl!

(I've got her in her time out room now. I'm amazed how well that actually works.)

It'll be a few days until I get the results. Still, I'm pretty happy about what I'm seeing. The night before last, Genevieve wouldn't let me sleep because she was meowing in apparent pain all through the night.
