I worry sometimes that Meguchan has escaped (she's an indoor only cat) but she is just excellent at finding hiding places to sleep. Sometimes I'll look for her for 30 minutes before she comes out of hiding all sleepy eyed saying "hey what's up guys, I was just having the best dream, why did you wake me up"?

I have a feeling that I'm going to have to force my Mom to move into assisted living soon. I just had to handle some major bullshit that she let get really bad, and it's pretty clear that her mental capacity is quite diminished these days. It's frustrating seeing her like that at 68 when I have a step grandma who is 96 and still doing quite well on her own.
