Take my opinion for what it's worth, and I know it's easier said than done, but simply do not think about all this negative stuff if you can. From what I'm reading, your future at this particular company is pretty much done, and you seem to be coming to peace with that. The fact that it's not your fault and is an injustice is unfortunately irrelevant - corporate environments are snake pits and you can never fully control what happens around you and to you. Zone it all out, and focus on what's next for you. In the mean time, save and print all the dirt, emails, craptastic stuff you can - because when the injustice turns into pushing you out and screwing you even more, you'll have some ammo to negotiate a better package.
