I was walking the dog and reached the park when I noticed that I dropped my gloves somewhere along the way there. They weren't particularly expensive gloves (XC skiing gloves that double as my winter biking/running gloves too. Plus I saw a friend about 20 feet ahead and we waved... then I thought: fuck it I'm looking for the gloves,and proceeded to back track the way we walked there.

I figured if I dropped $40 then I'd backtrack... and these were probably my favorite gloves...

I get to a longish street and kind of see them in the distance on the sidewalk... and this latino guy on a bike bikes past me and then ahead proceeds to get off his bike and pick up my glove and starts to bike off! I had a weird thought... damn maybe he's poor and could really use those gloves...then I think fuck it and yell: "hey those are my gloves!" and the motherucker starts to bike off quickly...

My French press just shattered into a bazillion piece when I picked it up to wash it. One of said pieces ended up in my thumb.

I had a coffee fiasco as well just two days ago. Put the moka pot on the stove and after a while I'm thinking "why the hell is this taking so long?" Good advice to get the pot ready the night before while still conscious as I had forgotten to put any water in; it got extremely hot and melted the shit out of the handle, lid grab knob and the filter ring inside... not to mention the nauseating fumes that are not the best for you at 8 o'clock in the morning! That was not a good day...

I'm struggling tonight.

Redoing the work is proving to be rather infuriating and difficult. Unfortunately it's not a paper, so I can't just fix stupid grammatical errors and move on...
