Yeah, for me, too. I have a 2.5 hr. meeting coming up in a few minutes that unfortunately won't make things better.

Of course, my phone uses a standard micro-usb cable so I would never have a problem getting it charged at work, but when I have forgotten it, GV makes it seem like I still have it in my hand.

I got one for $20 at Best Buy. I needed another one for the office anyway.

That's not so bad then...same price as the apple store right?

Have 3rd parties come out with $2 versions yet or is there some sort of patent lockup on this new connector?

My dentist is leaving the office (moving out east to start a new practice with her son who just finished dental school).

Its annoying because I only just found a dentist I liked here in chicago in august 2011 (and unfortunately I have seen her many more times in the past year than a normal person would see their dentist due to injuries and a filling that went bad).
I have some work that still needs to be finished that is going to her replacement but I am a bit wary since she only finished dental school in 2009 and I have no experience with her.

I'd ask my friends for a suggestion but they all go to this place that they recommend but always seems kind of scummy when they talk about it (pushing for extra charges for random screens, suggesting extra visits and stuff for gum measurements that my previous dentists considered normal, etc). It is a lot more conveniently located/has better hours than my current place...but I don't want to deal with crap like that.

I'm too stingy for my own good.

Been checking the sales alert thread since black friday and found soooo many things I wanted to buy for amazing prices.. but in the end, I always remind myself that I don't need 95% of the shit in my shopping cart and I envision regretting not having that cash to invest in stocks..

The extent of my purchase(s) thus far:
1) a pair of socks discounted to $21 from mr. porter

The end. frown.gif

Woke up at 3:30 today, bathing in sweat. This is happening way to often lately, and i'm nowhere near the stress levels I've experienced in the past when this type of shit happened.

Turns out the thermostat in our apartment was running 73.4 fahrenheit, no wonder I'm sleeping shitty.

Went out at a run at 6 , came back and fell out to my gf about it. She studies some 16 hours a day, as a rule is low in energy because of it, and therefore wants ambient temp to be that high. However, she knows I sleep like shit in temps like that. I took it as a personal slight because of that.

sadly I'm used to waaaaay more shit than she is, and she cant take it when I get angry/pissed off like that.

I apologized and explained by text, and havent got a reply as of yet.

So now I'm in the office on 4 hours of sleep, worried about my gf and starting what is going to be grueling day if my email is anything to go by.

f@ck, i'm rambling already..

Thanks for the suggestions, but its not the bed where she's cold. I tend to function like a heater, so thats no problem.
Its the daytime when she's studying at home thats causing the problem. She gets cold from sitting still all day, turns up the heat and forgets to turn it down. I'm not accustomed to looking at the damn thing so we go to bed and presto.

Methinks I will be investing in one of those Nest - learning thermostats for christmas. That way I can tell it I want to have frostbite when I wake up..
