I would get down on all fours and walk up it that way. Safer.

Thankfully not! However, there was one part where I was in class with no shirt. It was horrible.

I started today and noticed its going to be very difficult to remove the existing varnish with steel wool, because I suspect there are three coats of it on there. That leaves me with hand-sanding or power sanding, but the drawers have a veneer on top of solid wood, which risks sanding through. So I'll probably have to sand it by hand with a much finer grade paper that I'd want, which will take forever, and I'll have to do it outside in the cold over a couple days, bringing it back inside after each day. Otherwise it will get stolen. Once it's sanded, then it will probably need a coat of conditioner, two coats of stain, and then finishing sealer. We're talking a lot of work. ffffuuuu.gif

Yep, but the finished product is well worth it. Good luck.

Yep. We have a pretty big garage and it's wonderful. Eventually I'm going to evict some of the ancillary crap (boat, ping-pong table, etc) and have real space again.

I had these dreams all last week and last night my dream was that I was filled with apprehension about talking to my professors about my performance and making up materials. Odd.

I don't recall ever having a nightmare.

Due to being busy I missed my two week haircut so I must get one this evening. I am looking rather shaggy.

I used to get those all the time. It was always a math or language class and somehow the classroom was always exactly the same as one from the annex of my high school. They went away once I started actually teaching classes and I haven't had one in years now. Hurray.

Only dreams I ever remember now are these ones where I'm constantly being chased through an endless maze-type building of some sort (often a school). I eventually realized that I only seem to get them when my blood sugar is low and it's a good cue that I need to wake up and eat something. Mental training is weird.

Me too. I'm going to cut my hair in about five minutes. I'll report back if it went badly, but not if it went well.

No...but the little girl in the picture does. But the photos were taken so people like her could have a photo of themselves racing--not so someone could advertise for their team.

I'm going to send a note but since it seems to be a reasonably sized national organization, I doubt the person reading the messages is actually the person who edited my original photo.

edit: and what really bugs me about it is the fact that they watermarked it with their corporate sponsor's name and logo and yet they couldn't be bothered to include a photo credit?
