it may sound counterintuitive but stick some high calorie days in there to refeed the body and help get it out of its funk. It will be better in the long run.

Wow. You just described my VP/GM.

My headphones broke, it'll take a week more to replace them, and my favorite Starbucks to work out of has started playing Christmas music. Bossa Nova "Jingle Bells" playing currently. Please, someone, jam some steaming feces into my ears and spare me from this torment.

Was just forced to teach a bunch of first graders and Kindergarten kids about the concept of "relative distance" aka that distance isn't an absolute concept. They didn't get anything I said. Not even when they got it explained to them in Chinese.

I don't mind it so much, it's the waking up early with a hangover thing that gets to me.

pissing me off. i left my office for the cleaning lady to clean it. and she cleaned very nicely, and for that i am appreciative. but i intentionally closed my laptop so she would not touch it. well, she went ahead and cleaned it, which was nice of her, but she used some generic, non computer specific, cleaning product for the screen. and now, despite its being "clean" it has a very weird and irritating glow to it. i hope it goes away.

grrrrr.

I fucking hate the dirt and crude that collects in the corners of the frames of my glasses. There's no good way to clean that stuff and over time it just builds up and up. Fucking stupid fucking crud.

my mom has been pestering me about grand issues: having kids, giving back to my cousins back home (which pretty much means straight out cash hand outs), and possibly moving to another state/city (she wants me to move to the suburbs).

I really don't mind her calling/texting, but she's got this extra ordinary gift to call during the worst times like when I'm driving, or swamped at work where I have to be blunt and cut her off and end the phone call immediately.

Honestly, I'm the one child out her brood that isn't really in some super dramatic life situation right now - and I think she's just so used to dealing with dramas she needs to create one with me and my wife for the sake of having one.
