That seems like a not insignificant point, to put it diplomatically!

That is a big "oops." What are they doing to make good on it? Glad you like the fit though.

Careful. They say HIV came from monkeys.

Yup. To take it even further, they committed an even bigger oops that only negatively affected their end:

Instead of only supplying me with a blazer, they mistakenly logged my order as a full suit order, so my 'blazer' came with a pair of matching pants!

They are graciously taking back the blazer and pants and are re-making me a new jacket with the fabric of my choice. They sent me two fabric swatches and I'm stuck between two samples.. but I think I know which one I'm going to pick.

I don't know what their margins are, but I highly, highly doubt they'll be able to re-sell my jacket and pants, let alone recycle the material. If anything, it's going to be a complete wash. So not only will they lose their cost basis on those two pieces, they're obviously going to lose money on the new jacket they're making for me. Excellent customer service, though -- the fact that they'd do this for me, a new customer.

I see myself being a long term customer, so I'm sure they'll recoup their profits from me.. say.. within a year devil.gif

Fuck. I'm so fucking indecisive with these two fabrics.

I mean, I already 'decided' on a color and sent my choice back in, but I keep looking at the other color and keep second guessing myself. ffffuuuu.gif

Leaf blowers - what the f--k are they all about then?
A complete waste of time and resources paying people to blow leaves to one another!

+1. I've always thought there was more satisfaction in using a rake anyway. Leaf blowers are absurd.

i think the idea is that it makes it much easier to blow the leaves onto your neighbors yard, thus eliminating the need to bag the leaves.

Missed bidding on an awesome sweater because the wife was in a panic over some birthday card (with check inside) she misplaced while cleaning today, and it MUST be found NOW. Que frantic house-destroying search, undoing entire day of organizing. facepalm.gif

Should be a lesson for me, always using a sniping service even when I'm going to be home with nothing planned.

6 months of studying what? (or is that classified israeli intelligence information?)

++++++

its monday lunchtime today. this morning, on the first hour I realized that one thing they never teach you at business school and post graduate school: dealing with an employee that punched another employee of higher rank that happens to be gay.
