On one occasion we were out in public and saw one of the douchebags. He didn't do anything violent, (probably because of the strapping alpha male beside her) but it was clear he was very pissed off at my wife. I worry about her.

I would worry about her too. Get her a gun?

If the standards of today were applied then, having sex with an inebriated woman, not receiving express verbal permission before intercourse, I'd be in trouble too.

An old friend of mine made the awful mistake of marrying a bigot radical feminist. I decided not to listen to a thing that came out of her mouth when she tried to convince me that all men are rapists, because rape is the physical and emotional way that a man expresses interest in women, and that rape is the male's primary biological imperative for survival of the bloodline.

Needless to say, she turned out to be a cheater, pathological liar, sociopath, and all around terrible person.

unless you know what you are doing, often having a gun is less safe. i think pepper spray would be a better alternative.

F - im sure you will keep her safe. she is doing noble work, and may that merit always protect her.

I'm so glad we continue to protect our nation's children with an aggressive war on drugs.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Vagnini and three others are facing criminal charges stemming from a series of illegal rectal searches Vagnini vigorously conducted between February 2010 and February 2012. "Vagnini is alleged to have performed all of the searches," the paper reports. "The three other officers are accused of witnessing Vagnini's actions and not stopping them or reporting them to a supervisor." A total of 32 of their police colleagues testified against the four men.

One would assume two well educated and intelligent people would indeed learn to "know what you are doing" if they purchased a gun for self defense. Props to you for defaulting to the party line though. wink.gif

Just the fact that we have a distinction between "legal" and "illegal" anal searches sort of bothers me.

I think my older brother is doing hard drugs, and I don't know how to handle this situation; part of me feels necessary to let my parents know, part of me feels that is betrayal.
