Since my office is moving to another floor I have to go through tons of documents in files to decide to either take them with us, throw them out, or box and ship them to iron mountain for indexing. This is awful.

Box them all up for indexing, then have a drink. Win!

I would hold off on the hanging mob before some investigation is made. I know this is verboten to say but I've ran across several females that have made such allegations and all indications were they were complete liars. I'm not saying this girl is lying, and if the situation is real the man is a cad and I hope she gets out, but that whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing has probably stuck around for so long because it's not a bad methodology.

I'm glad you said it, I didn't for fear of being attacked.

I've known more girls who have lied about being raped or being in violent relationships who have then admitted that they were attentions seeking than I have who stood by their statements. Obviously every care should be taken, but flying into a rage without investigation is often very unwise.

I agree that it's important not to jump to conclusions, especially when action results from those conclusions that can't easily be undone. On the other hand, though, if you have a friend who tells you she's been raped, I think your prima facie assumption should be that she's not lying.

BTW have a Likely Unpleasant Visit later today, and have talked with a lawyer friend about retaining her services until this business is settled, which may take up to a year.

Left my glasses at a girl's place....

My prescription's not that bad (and I only need them for distance) so I didn't notice until I was already outside...now I can't decide if I am better off wearing my sunglasses all day, wearing my old prescription, or wearing no glasses at all.

On one occasion we were out in public and saw one of the douchebags. He didn't do anything violent, (probably because of the strapping alpha male beside her) but it was clear he was very pissed off at my wife. I worry about her.

Actually the girl who I lost my virginity to told people using a lot of words that I raped her. If her whispering in my ear that she wanted to fuck me is rape then we are all screwed. Maybe she had buyer's remorse.
