No he's Hong Kongese . Very capable president, nice guy, have worked with him for almost 2 years. This is the first time something like this has happened, I am struggling to understand. He's fully capable of saying "no" to me, and to say "yes" and then turn around and cancel it without a second thought or notice to me not once but twice is bizarre and it kept me up all night. As regards your second point, would it improve things if you took your vacation in "the Shire," which I understand to be a neighborhood in Sydney? (I learned about the Shire from another thread just today, though I'm not sure I believe everything I read.)
