The more I thought about it though - I was like, so I'm willing to do 50% of the right thing? I'm one of those guys that rants about how we have to make laws for everything because our culture no longer judges/forces people to do the right thing. It was hard to actually walk the walk.

i'm more interested in how the new wife (congrats on that by the way) thoughts on this. did she think you should pay?

its always interesting to see my friends after they get married. sometimes as a unit they are yin/yang... often times they turn into "team wrecking crew".

However, ethically, we agreed to pay the charge and if we'd've scrutinized the invoice, we would have caught the mistake (even though we had them confirm the price twice). So while I don't have to pay, I'm going to pay it. Even though it is Marriott Inc. I'd be screwing over, I'd still be screwing someone over. It just sucks. That's a good chunk of change.

What are you resting your voice for, if not to talk to your cat?

No he's Hong Kongese wink.gif. Very capable president, nice guy, have worked with him for almost 2 years. This is the first time something like this has happened, I am struggling to understand. He's fully capable of saying "no" to me, and to say "yes" and then turn around and cancel it without a second thought or notice to me not once but twice is bizarre and it kept me up all night. He sent out an email since then but has yet to reply to mine.

To speak to the Lord in prayer.

Damn. It. All.

That's unfortunate. It's still my goal to see Band of Horses in concert. (one of the other bands on that tour)

I am currently doing research for an article on Schizophrenia your cat posts are providing a lot of insight. Aside from your cat talking back do you see things as well?

And its a long weekend here in Canberra and the weather has turned to shit grey skies intermittent rain and a top of 16c so much for a day trip to the beach.

I am glad that Genevieve and I could be of help!

I do indeed see things.

As regards your second point, would it improve things if you took your vacation in "the Shire," which I understand to be a neighborhood in Sydney? (I learned about the Shire from another thread just today, though I'm not sure I believe everything I read.)

The Shire is full of Bogans and Wax Heads not a pleasant place to be. I prefer Bondi Beach it has Yummy Mummies and young ladies sunbathing topless. Bondi is aesthetically much nicer.

I had to look up the meaning of bogans (which the spellchecker wanted to change to hogans). It meant pretty much what I'd guessed from context. According to DIL, The Shire is the kind of place where a young man would have sex with his own aunt while she was asleep and then brag to his friends that he got laid. He probably didn't mean for that to be taken too literally, but all the same, it makes The Shire sound like quite a crazy place. Your description of Bondi definitely makes that place sound more appealing.

Are you sure you didn't look up Queensland?
