There are two bad parts about the whole situation...1 I thought all but one kid paid and the one who didnt is a good friend who said hed give me 20 if I won but I told him not to bother because he always buys extra rounds when we go out. I had no idea that there were others who didnt pay. 2 there have been shady dealings with other kids in these leagues before I guess. One kid in particular will try to weasel his way into getting his money back because not everyone paid.

Its just dumb because I dominated the regular season and its only 20 bucks...either way I just bought sunglasses I didnt need at all because i have about 10 pair...so these will pay for most of that cost.

Working retail part time for kicks and some trash came in and switched a price tag on a dress knocking about 80 off the price. The cashier was new and they were aggressive about the tagged price being honoured. I wasnt around and found out afterwards.

I dont care about the money, Im pissed because the cashier feels awful just so some low rent white trash could save a few bills. Great to know when someones integrity costs 80 bucks.

I am not generally a misanthrope, but stories like that challenge my faith in humanity. I would say they should be ashamed of themselves, but I imagine they are unfamiliar with that feeling.

It looks and feels nice, but I dislike spread collared shirts, and while I pride myself on being able to tie some decent knots with thick ties, that 7 fold is beyond me.

7 fold ties piss me off.

this is ridiculous.

I only own one seven-fold tie, which is a Kiton. It drapes beautifully, unlike any other tie I own. It's one of my favorite ties. (Most of my ties are Charvet, and I love them too, but they don't drape like the Kiton.)

It is ridiculous how well it drapes!

(I acquired that tie on January 17, 2009. It was a very generous birthday gift from my brother, who has the same birthday as me because he is my twin. [Not identical.])

There is basically one reason why I pay for cable television, and that is to see baseball and football games. At this very moment I'd like to watch the St. Louis Rams game, but apparently it is too much trouble for my cable company to get the pictures to my TV.

EDIT: Okay, it's on now. Maybe I should be careful what I wish for.

Just lost $80. Lost like I had it 5 minutes ago and now can't find it.

Cupcake - can you wish for my $80 to show up?

No dice. But I see that the Rams won, so I'm not exactly sure where your loyalties lay on this one...

They were looking bad when I typed that, so my wishing turned out well. My wishing operations will continue.
