Things that are pissing you off. - Page 2425

it was a stupid argument where she asked me to do a bunch of things (park the car, walk the dog, don't forget to bring something from the car, ect, ect) while she gets ready for the concert. So when I get back she asks: "did you do so-and-so?" I answer: Yup I did everything. She then proceeds to ask again if I did things individually: "did you remember to park the car?" I answer: I said I did everything. She asks: did you remember to bring the thing from the car?" She starts to ask if I walked the dog and I snap and say "what do you think does I did everything mean?!" From there it was typical spousal argument fodder until her big dramatic announcement of her not going. this time though I'm not going to be a good guy and do a customary "the man/husband is always wrong" apology. I'll let her deal with her issues by her lonesome.

I also know this little outburst is a typical pattern where she gets mad/crabby right before a big trip. Especially if she's not coming with me. I'm leaving this Friday to that haphazardly forced family reunion created by my sister. I'll only be gone for a little over a week, and the wife knows the hell/stress my own family put me through up to this point. The other annoying pattern is she'll be extra apologetic and caring the days before the flight as a way of making things up to me.
