Down here: A/C tech.8 months of the year you have non-stop business. The bad part is you spend a lot of time outdoors and on roofs.

BTW: Goddammit Robinair. I buy your vacuum pump, your gauge set, and your can tap - and the fuckers don't fit together - and your tech support is NOT HELPFUL either.

Your catalogs haven't been updated since 2009. Really? REALLY? You sure you want to tell me that Mr. Customer Service? WTF did I call you for if I can get better information via google? Why bother maintaining a toll-free customer service number if you're just going to recommend I fucking google it?!

in NYC you have to pay bottle deposits. It seems like a fucking racket.

you'll get fooled into thinking you're getting a good deal: "24 pack of poland springs 5 dolla!" but end up paying 5 cents for each bottle as a deposit.

of course you can go back and get your deposit at an automated machine bottle drop... but then its a clusterfuck of old chinese/mexican/eastern european women with granny carts FULL of bottles leering at you to hurry up. Its a demoralizing experience.

I just end up giving all my bottles to some random there.

what ever you do don't give our your bottles in bulk from your house. I did that after accumulating all the coke cans/bottles/ect for a month and handing out the huge clear recycling bag to a random guy.... the next week 3 people were outside WAITING for my recyclable swag... when all i had was like 3 two liter bottles. They looked mad at me. I live in fear of getting robbed by recycling thugs.

So much for any savings at the supermarket on soda.

I love Amazon PRIME. Would be devastating if they blacklisted me.

There has been some interesting speculation that the reason Amazon has been giving up the fight against orders being taxed in many states (including Texas) is that they are planning to get into same day delivery. To do this they would need warehouses all over these states, and therefore would be open for taxation anyways. If this does happen, you are going to be looking at one of the greatest examples of "the law of unintended consequences." All the brick and mortar stores that lobbied so long for this change in tax law will suddenly find one of their greatest competitive advantages diminished. The consumer's desire to have the product "now."

I'm sick and tired of people bitching about Timeline.

Its not the first time facebook has made a major interface change, nor will it be the last. It has been around for what...a year now? If you wanted to bitch about it, you should have switched to it right away as an early tester so your bitching might have actually been valuable input.

Change is going to happen, and you aren't always going to like it. Don't be like those old people who don't like mobile phones, digital cameras, or computers...just adapt and keep going.

yo, fvck timeline.

I don't mind timeline, but wish FB would make the privacy controls easier to understand and more transparent. Half the time, I can't figure out who can see what. Google got it right with "circles" and FB still feels too clumsy in comparison.
