I get along ok with the guy because I am not afraid to stand up to him (which these guys seem to like, (I should make an east coast boss thread). Problem is now I have to pick this guys work up which was a nightmare when I had to do it last year for the other guy. Plus, now I have the longest tenure of anyone in the department which is fucked up since I have only been here 2.5 years.

Still waiting for a bonus for work done three years ago? confused.gif I'd be livid.

Overly cautious people on Craigslist. You're buying a cell phone from me, not buying an Uzi in a back alley. No need to meet in the middle of a fucking mall. Then showing up 35 min late and not apologizing at all.

If it helps, Iceland is home to the most beautiful women in the world.

Good luck with dogs, Douglas.

Contrast that with HK, where people keep straight up walking into me. No apologies or anything. Talked to local people about it and they say it happens to them too. Chinese people give zero fucks, I guess. But the crowds here can feel crushing in a very different way than in Tokyo or Seoul, for instance.

Also: Doesn't seem like people kan be bothered to lift their umbrellas any higher than exactly my eye height either. I'm sure I'll go blind every time it rains.

I hate people who walk slow and stop in the middle of the sidewalk and people who wave around their umbrellas like no one is around, it's often the same assholes.

I have begun to push peoples umbrellas, if they are close to my face.

Some cunt kicked / walked right into my dog the other day, no apology or nothing just kept walking. censored.gif

I know this feel. Preseason tickets used to be an option for season ticket holders but they've been mandatory since 2000sh (Giants.)

I just read an article that Tyrann Mathieu is in rehab. It pisses me off because, first, you don't need rehab for weed, it's not a narcotic, and second, the kids whole life has been turned upside down by a substance that is miles safer than alcohol.

Good luck with the dogs Douglas. Hope you don't have to rent out one of the rooms in your new house to cover it all.

sorry about your dogs. have you looked into pet insurance? i understand its a lot more expensive if you have more than one dog. When my puppy threw up a shard of glass I wasn't really afraid of the surgery (which thankfully never happened) because our plan covered 90% of it. The $300 for the x-rays and diagnostics cost me about $30.

I get pissed at hotels which are designed where wedding celebrations end up spilling over into the lobby and front desk. I don't want to be a dick and get in the way of the wedding, but they are totally in the way of people trying to check in. its a weird dichotomy of tired/hungry/needing to take a shit people wanting to check-in being crowded by wedding attendees who are dressed up, horny, and drunk and aimlessly wandering around.
