I hate when I do this and then they ask for "backup".

Traveling with a new report. He needs work on his presenting skills, not horrible but not great. Spent time with him yesterday and today discussing it, and he argued with me about every comment, 'well, the reason I did it that way was...' and so on. I don't need this shit. Just do your best to do it my way.

black car + black leather interior was a big mistake. full blast air conditioner eventually cools things, but the time it takes to work doesn't stop the interior from frying you and breaking out a full sweat + swamp ass sweat going.

I actually thought that using my valet key in the ignition and trying to lock the car from the outside using the key fob would work... apparently it doesn't. Fuck it today I'll leave the car idling and unlocked if its going to sit there for less than 10min.

i have the same problem, and my seats are beige. car is black though.

i have long considered a remote starter to cool the car down before i get in. but they were like $300 bucks last i checked.

ugh, I was about to say I don't miss stepping into an oven car, but the subway isn't much better.




I'm exhausted today. The heat makes me lose my appetite so I haven't been eating very much, and for the last two nights in a row the dog was acting all antsy in bed and constantly moving around so I slept poorly, and now it has all caught up to me.

I fucking hate the formatting "rules" in my office. Takes longer to format the god damn spreadsheet than to crunch the data.

Get vented seats next time. Whoever invented that deserves a Nobel IMO.

I reserve a profound hatred for the over-inquisitive co-worker. The new guy in the office fits the archetype exactly. Yesterday he came over to my desk and sat down; he didn't leave for thirty minutes. Among the topics he brought up:

1.) "So how was your high school experience?"
2.) "That's a nice box under your desk." It is an empty copy paper box full of paper I need to shred.
3.) Eight different ways of stating, "It's hot out today."

I said almost nothing in response and for most of the conversation my back was turned to him. The guy must have some sort of disorder because NO ONE is this bad at taking a hint. Not sure what to do about this asshole.
