I prefer to go out during the day but whenever I stay up past 12 and wake up later than 8, my day drags. I hate staying up late.

9:30 and it is already completely unbearable outside.

i went to the atm after work today to deposit a few checks. put my card in the atm, entered my pin, and the machine said it was unavailable for check deposits. so i jumped back in the car to go to another atm about 7 minutes away. turn on the radio and kinda zone out. when i am about a block away from the second place, i check my wallet and see that my card and checks are not in it. great, i left them in the other atm. at this point i begin cursing and yelling until i am horse, and pull a u turn to go back to the first atm, even though i know its too late to get anything back. more screaming and cursing ensues.
then i tap my shirt pocket and realize i put my card and the checks in there after i left atm #1. facepalm.gifcloud.giffacepalm.gif

How hard is it exactly to have a reservation system for people to pay for their seats? I mean, we're talking about service from the Hamptons to NYC - these are people who are willing to pay for seats... A good third of this train spent 2.5 hours standing or sitting on the floor, stairs, etc... Not only is that pathetic from a comfort point of view but it's also unsafe, no? At some point, every inch of floor and stairs had someone sitting or standing... And then there's this total lack of manners with no one, not a single one of those hungover kids ever offering a seat to a mom with two 3 year-old kids. There was a pregnant woman who sat on her bag on the floor because not a single one of these POS would get up and offer his seat. Pathetic. It's like taking the train in India minus about 50 degrees temperature, because if there's one thing that's sacred here is the stupid AC and making sure every car is cold as an ice box... facepalm.gifno this is not the subway, it's a 3 hour train ride... This is my system, too. It works.

It was 84 degrees and humid this morning at 7:30; it's expected to get up to 101. Still no rain even though the sky was cloudy and dark late yesterday afternoon. We need rain, very badly. frown.gif
