Mormon wedding? No. Moron wedding? Most certainly.

I honestly cannot think of a worse wedding than that. Having to fly to Houston. For a wedding. At 8am. No booze or fun allowed. Truly extraordinary. I expect that the wedding night was sex-free for the newlyweds

+1. holy hell, who makes a wedding at 8AM.

also, the bride would likely have to start getting ready at like 5AM, why would anyone want that?

I can respect the decision not to serve alcohol at your wedding reception if are opposed to alcohol consumption for religious or other moral reasons. Just be prepared to be forever known as "the cheap asshole who didn't have free booze at their wedding."

oh, and my other half has some ink work on her back, and that was evidentally a big no-no, so she had to wear a sweater type thing over her dress. In the heat.

I felt so bad that I abandoned her, but no regrets about not going. So it goes.

oh, and the groom serenaded the bride with what is believed to be a song that he wrote.

there was no coffee either.

That one makes some sense at least. I can see how ink on a lady's back would ruin the wedding for everyone, and possibly even lead to divorce. Better safe than sorry.

Who the hell invites a woman to be a bridesmaid and then tells her that she has to cover her tattoo? That's just plain rude.

Eat. Drink. Lay in sun, then go for a dip. Repeat.

Anything to avoid 96 and humid in the city (gross). Most of my friends are here M-F, and then leave the city for Sat and Sun.

+1
