When I checked the Greenville, SC weather at www.weather.gov I get this unexpectedly that I get ticked off The "Forecast At A Glance" icons, hourly weather graph feature, Spanish version, and temperatures in Celsius are temporarily not available for this location for technical reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience. We apologize for any inconvenience my ass. I want the local weather from nearby Greenville, SC baldy[1].gifcensored.gif

That's why Greenville, SC is lame!

But I checked my hometown weather it's normal smile.gif

They often involve fantasy worlds with their own histories and sets of norms, which apparently my friends just dream up on the spot. Then, after describing these dreams, my friends say "So, what did you dream?" And I'm like "Uh, I was playing baseball." And they say "Oh, what happened in the game?" And I say "Umm, I grounded out to short. Then I went to the dugout and sat down."

Ha had to laugh at this back in the 90's a friend of mine a Jungian analyst had a young male jazz musician in therapy who he thought he was too effete (the muso) so they discussed it and came up with the idea of playing Rugby. So from there was born a Rugby team called Mozart's Maulers it was made up from students from the Conservatory of Music and a few others professional musicians and friends from what the analyst told me. They played in a Sydney competition versus Police and other hard head sides.

While under a lot of stress a few years back with a particular job I had a dream where I was playing in a rugby game, was stuck in the pigs, scrummaging and pretty active in the breakdown it went on like a normal game till I was pulled off by the coach. The next morning I woke up feeling a lot more relaxed, about work and its demands.

Not to turn this into the sports dreams thread, but this morning I had a really sad dream that got my day off to an unpleasant start. It was the '70s and I was watching a TV show about baseball. The host was really old (like 80 or so) and curmudgeonly, and he was complaining about players having facial hair and stuff like that. Then in the last segment of the show he was holding a really prestigious trophy, but he fell down and broke it into many pieces. Then he started crying. frown.gif

Not just handed a great job with no experience like he was. I just want to make the median average for what my major makes 2 years out of school which is slightly over 50k not the 33 that I make now. I went to a good school and did well had an internship with a top financial company so what gives?
As an aside I like getting home at 7 and being able to go for a nice run rather than sloth on the couch or bed on my ipad and play trivial games like oregon settler.

You should get a new job.

I saw this super close-up picture of this hot chick in an advertisement so I clicked on it. When the picture enlarged it was actually a photograph of Justin Bieber. shog[1].gif

You said you intered at a major financial firm. I got a solid job out of school without any internship at all.

How long have you worked this job? Stay there a year and then start looking. It can never hurt to shoot out your resume whenever you get more experience.

My tie is not here yet. I don't know the exact USPS schedule in the office but I did see someone get an express mail package so I know they have been here at least once today.

Don't know what time the mailman comes on the weekend but I really don't want to have to come to the office tomorrow before this wedding just to see if my tie gets in by noon.

Its weird because first class mail from NYC to Chicago shouldn't really take this long...I was told that it was in the mail on monday.
