update to those interested had a chat with the no call no show employee today. i mentioned in a very nice and calm way that if he doesnt start showing up we will have to look in another direction. he started loosing his **** and saying he was being disrespected, he works too many hours for that kind of treatment(i guess he meant the hours he actually comes to work) and threatened to leave. i said look you do what you gotta do but if you walk out the door and leave dont bother coming back. he wont be coming back. in some ways its so much easier when people quit. but i now have to find someone on short notice. oh well, could have been much worse.

I hate hate hate hate those vile creatures. I don't know if it's the heat or what, but it seems like they've been particularly bad this year.

Almost got in a wreck today. I stopped to get gas and my window was open. Apparently that's how a huge wasp got in the car. So I started driving and it started buzzing around me out of nowhere and landed on my neck. So I was squirming around like an idiot trying to get it off me and almost hit a car. Finally smashed it with my elbow after swerving around for about a block. I was driving the car while standing up and couldn't stop because there was traffic all around me. Ugh. **** insects.

Two things consecutively pissed me off today.

I went out of my office to get a cup of coffee and while walking, these dickweeds decided to start a waterbottle fight and my pants and shoes got sprayed with water. Assholes in shorts.

Coming back into the building I get in the elevator and some guy tells me we are wearing the same shirt. I knew immediately we were not because mine is custom. I look at his shirt, which has a button-down collar, pocket that reads "Chaps" and button cuffs. Me in a spread collar, french cuff, no pocket, acorn fabric shirt replies, "Based on what? The fact that they are both shirts?"

Why do they have to hold my mail at the post office that always has a 30 minute wait regardless of the time I go plus is frequented by barely function marsupials who don't seem to know how the mail system works? Not to mention that it usually smells like a combination of feet and ass; basically like a high school locker room. There's another post office, maybe 2 blocks further away (though in a different direction) that is clean, pleasant, and never busy. Damn it.

Just reminded me of a scary memory as a kid; opened the bathroom door and a cockroach flew out at me :x Freaked me out at the time too.
