there is a good friend of mine from high school, and shortly after his marriage some 10/12 years ago, he and his wife found out she has crones disease. she had had many ups and downs over the years, and unfortunately was never able to have children.
she had been ok considering lately, and her husband went out of town for work. in a very odd and unexpected way, she became very ill from the crones, and passed away before he was able to return. i dont even know what to say really. what a tragic turn.

i'm so sorry stitches.

this is kind of stupid but i've been reading studies on pennebaker's expressive writing protocol (write traumatic experiences for 15 min for 4 consecutive days) and the results seem pretty amazing. less doctor visits, better immune system, better health in general (measured by self reporting, behavioral markers, and physiological markers eg antibody and killer B cell levels), even better GPA for students. when it first came out in 1980 people didn't believe it but a ton of repeated studies since then have confirmed the results and a whole part of the therapy industry thrives around it. i have no idea how helpful that tidbit was, but it's something to think about.

Time to break open a six pack...always seems to work for me.

Self analysis is s excellent tool and writing is the best medium to conduct it in. I have kept private journals for years the fact that you sit down and face the issues in an open manner and don't initially engage in analysis is quite beneficial. Not that I have been exposed to this method but I basically I use my journal, in part, as a form of mental venting which allows you to get off the merry-go-round of obsessive focus on negative issues. Highly recommended for its positive health benefits.

honestly tho when i first read about the effects i thought it was bullshit. stuff like less skipping out on work, more energy, better gpa, better immune system sounds like bullshit to me, but it's pretty widely documented.

Do you live in a building with lots of mailboxes all together? My building is like that, and the letter carrier is always putting stuff in the wrong box. Any chance a neighbor is getting your stuff and just keeping it?

I do, but I doubt the package would have fit in the mailbox. I ordered two pants and from what I remember the company sends items in a box. Everyone that lives in the same complex is above 30, with a few exceptions; I live in a small condo community and many of us know each other. I would hope that is not the case. patch[1].gif

Here's another sample! I hate seeing this unexpectedly. WTF?

Nordstrom.com is temporarily unavailable as we make some site enhancements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to serving you again very soon. We apologize for any inconvenience my arse!

I hate seeing websites temporary closed down. That ticks me off!
I don't want to see any messages like this again for the rest of my LIFE!

Here's the proof. http://siteclosed.nordstrom.com/
