I had to wait two hours for a cab to pick me up once; I called the company four times and each time they informed me a cab had been dispatched. It was 3 in the morning and I was just 7 minutes away from my house.

edit: sweet they said I can head downstairs (although I bet the cab driver won't be there right away--they never are as close as they tell the dispatcher they are...they just don't want someone else to take the fare)

are you in chi town? i have had unusually good luck with the cabs there.

The annoying piece is that 95% , of the time, I could just walk outside and flag a cab in 30 seconds.

But they like it when we use the cab company we have a corporate account with and it is kind of a pain to deal with saving the receipt and filling out an expense report if you flag a cab yourself

Here's some more on this issue:

People getting banned on forums for TOS crap. I was the victim of this today thanks to the e-mail I got by the nameless anonymous Managing Board Editor at http://boards.radio-info.com for mentioning my views on Politics is Forbidden to be a forum of censorship. I had to complain about them at the Better Internet Bureau, but the moderators have to approved my complaint, urgh. People making me ticked off on Fridays, that too. That's why I'm boycotting http://boards.radio-info.com and http://www.radio-info.com immediately. Sometimes I get intense on this issue. I love the USA, fight what you believe in, and I don't like police-state.

That's why I made a rant about issues that bothers me a lot, enjoy!
BTW, I respect everybody's point of views. But I felt like I'm a activist you dig!

Police state? lol8[1].gif It's a forum dude, they can ban you because they don't like how you smell or for anything else. You have no rights against private individuals online.
