One of the things I really hate about Facebook is how there's no "are you sure?" warning message that you have to click before you "like" something. A couple times lately I've accidentally clicked "like" to updates from people I barely know, and certainly not people I know well enough for the "like" to be anything but extremely random and awkward. I was just trying to click on the accompanying photo to check out how nice your rack was looking that day.

The breadth and degree that seemingly asexual threads are becoming bombarded with softcore Appreciation images is getting a bit out of hand.

It's getting to the point where I'll open a thread called "Favorite tap water filter?" and expect to see some chesty dame pouring water through her tshirt in the first two or three responses.

He listened to John Prine, so I say no.

I am sick of seeing people in public using their mobile phones at inappropriate times. I get pissed off when I'm checking out and someone in line is pissing with their phone - be it text or voice. I get pissed when people use their phone at a restaurant, even if it is a casual spot. I really hate when I see people texting and driving.

I get pissed off when people use plastic for inexpensive things. Carry some god damn cash. The other day a man in front of me used his credit/debit card for a bottle of water totaling one dollar and some change. Not only does that suck for the retailer, but it slows up the line that I happen to be waiting in.

loosen up, pal. I never carry change on me so I frequently use my debit for bottles of water or pop.

^ I'm amazed at how little discretion use when talking on their cell phones in public places. I'll be on the bus or train or something and people have no problem indiscreetly airing out their dirty baby mama laundry to the ten people around them. I feel really awkward when people can hear me on the phone.

Depends. I only mingle in CE on the rare occasion. The energy thread turned out to be a worthwhile read. I usually stay away from the geopolitical bullshit. DT is DT. The Honey Badger doesn't give a **** about that. The rest is pretty much the same.

These are strange times we live in. The trolling thread in CE turned into a thoughtful, informed discussion of issues surrounding regulation.

It was kinda like going to a boxing match and seeing a hockey game break out.
