Found out through a reliable source (mutual friend) that the unrequited love I have for the past little while started seeing someone else and she has me firmly planted in the friend zone. The couple of good things if you can call them that, this is a rebound relationship (she's in the middle of a messy divorce) and I did not open my mouth and make an ass of myself.

Still, feeling ****** and being single in your early forties sucks big. Oh well back to writing an online dating profile and a lot of first coffee dates at Starbucks.

Got hit by bikes twice in the last two weeks. Didn't get hurt at all either time, but its still annoying that people don't pay attention. More there problem because both times the person fell of their bike pretty badly.

left work early to pick up the baby and then race home to get ready for the coming winter storm that's supposed to dump snow and sleet and ice and all the fury a southern baptist weatherman can conjure up. Was supposed to hit around 3. Then 5. Then 7. Now it's 9 p.m. and I can still walk outdoors in shirtsleeves.

The Dept. of Transportation is the worst. They don't hire human beings to work there, it's all robots and mouth breathers. I loathe renewing my license.
