My IWC sale fell through. Fuck, I was hoping to be done with that already. I haven't sold shit yet.

Actually, everything's pissing me off today. I'm in a really grouchy mood. Must have been the pain killer I took last night.

this is quite trivial, and it is of my own doing, so I should just keep my trap shut, but here we go anyway. Last week I was at the grocery store and see Met-Rx bars for $1.50 each. They look tasty, and years ago I ate their brand of bars in the then-current flavors quite a bit, so I bought a few. I liked the ones I tried, and bought more. The price held firm, so I bought more a few days later. Then more.

Now I have roughly 25+ of these bars and I am weary of them. *sigh*

They put the calorie counts right on the price tag at au bon pain

I don't usually care much--if I have a craving for a pecan roll, I'm gonna eat a damn pecan roll but, when you tell me that it costs $3.99 AND has 860 calories, I'm just gonna have to pass. When you put it out right in front of me that some also-tasty looking chocolate and creme twist thing only has 200 calories, I am going to make decisions based on that rather than the fact that pecan rolls are awesome.

Damn the fat people who couldn't figure out how to read the little poster all those sorts of places normally hide off in the corner (or who couldn't just figure out that pastries are fucking terrible for you)...
