I did have this teller who was an indian woman who treated me like shit on multiple occasions.
-i tried to deposit extra coins lying around (around $200 worth of dimes/nickles/quarters) she outright refused at first (I have all my accounts at that branch and calmly complained to the manager)
--I tried to withdraw $1500 and wanted the bills to be in $20s so I could use it as xmas tips (mailman/super/fedex/ups guys/ect) and she got angry and yelled at me.
---I walked in to make a deposit on one of those days where I was the ONLY one in the whole bank and she was the only teller and she just sat there for 5min and acted like she was busy.. until another guy gets in line as get an emergency cellphone call and she waves him in ahead of me as I start answering.
I eventually write a formal letter enumerating the many incidents (yes there were more) and she gets fired. Her daughter finds me on facebook and contacts me: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Turns out the daughter had an illegitimate kid with a guy who looked just like me. The daughter pleads for me to help her mother get her job back. I end up having to write a letter and talk to the branch manager with my wife by my side. I guess the woman got the same job back but in another branch in the Bronx. I never got a thank you from that bitch or her daughter though.I

Two things:

You really wrote a letter and she got fired on that basis...

She must have done something else ..

Sacking someone on the basis of a customer complaint is crazy...

Well I have a great relationship with the branch manager... I opened all my accounts through her -mortgage/car loan/3 checking accounts and 2 savings accounts through her when she was working her way up from regular accounts person till branch manager from 2008 until present.

I don't know if my letter was the breaking point with the branch manager but she was gone after I personally handed it to her. I was really busy and out of the blue I got contacted on facebook...

I was actually scared that I'd be randomly attacked or something...since I got randomly contacted on facebook (it was creepy being contacted like that but I guess it was a desperate situation).

It is quite a disturbing story..

I would have understood if she had a warning after your accusations were checked out

I find as a principle quite disturbing to sack someone on someone's testimony ...

The fact you're an excellent customer mustn't warrant such decision...

It might have been the tipping point ..

I also find very disturbing they contacted you through Facebook...

They have been very lucky you're a genuine nice person because the all thing could have turned very nasty..

UPS. I was at home standing at the door expecting a package, when the UPS truck pulled up. The driver went to the back of the truck, then returned to the front and through up his hands to suggest he didn't have it. I later get an update from UPS stating customer was not home on first attempt, they'll try again tomorrow. A complete lie. I called them up and gave them a piece of my mind. ffffuuuu.gif

Asking a tailor to take a jacket in and he insists it looks fine as is.

I went to pick up the package from the local distribution center, and the lady tells me that the package was on the truck, the driver just couldn't find it. He should have looked harder, especially since if it was scanned to be on his truck, then it was indeed there; and moreover, he saw me standing there to receive it. Really pisses me off.

First call from Police saying 17yo son has been in trouble ffffuuuu.gif Second friend tells me his 17 yo has knocked up girl friend after she told him she was on pill and then doesn't tell him until its too late to do anything (total cluster fuck)

Third and this is just tragic my 17yo tells me friend of his age topped himself on weekend. Jesus Christ on a Bike. Feel gutted for his parents, had talk with son and friends son about boy checking out told them this is not way and that they have to learn to talk about things.

Some what concerned group of parents going to meet and discuss, no one told me parenting was this hard.ffffuuuu.gif

Never thought I'd become a casual racist. I thought the more you interact with another culture, the more tolerant you become?

My tailor tells me "everything will be done by saturday the fourth" after I said the eleventh would be fine. Cue me showing up today (three days late) to find she'd altered the blazer, and hadn't started on any of the three pairs of pants or four shirts I'd dropped off.

If you know you can't do it in a week and a half, and I tell you two is fine, why the hell would you tell me to come back in ONE EFFING WEEK?

also, I think she's overcharging me and I've been going to her minimum 4-6 times a year since I was 16. This is not cool.

Here I sit, 12 hours gone and counting, dreaming of home.

Haven't you ever noticed that the people who proclaim most loudly that they aren't racist are the ones that have the least interaction with other races?

[rant] Stephen King's latest book is full of proclamations on how racist Texas is and how noble is own New Englander character is. Stephen King, who grew up in Maine, lives on Siesta Key, and has been a multimillionaire since his late twenties is lecturing others on racism. He probably hasn't interacted with a non-service-industry black person in forty years. He evens includes in his epilogue something like "If you think I've painted Texas in too negative of a light, you should visit there now. They actually have bars with signs that say "no firearms allowed""

He ignores that Texas is, at least by most statistical measures, one of the five least segregated states in the country (although I'm sure it still has its fair share of racists. He also apparently thinks that because some bars in Texas have "No guns allowed" signs, that it is some gun-crazy hellhole. And liking guns is obviously racist. While I realize Texas IS gun crazy, I live in Florida and there are many bars here that also have "no guns allowe": signs. In fact, I think if Stephen King got out more, he'd see that many bars, in poor areas all over the country, have those signs. But I digress......[/rant]

Lord, what a facepalm.gif of a post.

Saw your other post in the happy thread.. You have an interesting training regimen. A friend's training for his second marathon also and he's not doing too many splits, preferring to just add miles. I think he does about 8-10 a day nonstop. From people I've talked to, his approach is more common. Whatever works though nod[1].gif

I was just shouting at some noodles, with cause. "Fuck off you fucking cunt fucking noodles," I said. The noodles backed down.

I realize that disobedient noodles are probably not the biggest problem in the world but I felt strongly about it in the moment.
