Nope, the big, healthy guy. I was up at 2am to get some water and gave him a pet then. His head was the size of a medium dog's and he liked a little knuckle rub right between the ears. He was just fine and purring. I think a major blood vessel burst or something as it was obviously super fast. Was very surreal to get woken up and told the healthy cat was dead.

Thanks for all the support guys. When our other cat dies...the one that has been expected to die for months now...we plan to wait a few months then look for a pair of kitten siblings. As much as this hurts, as Acid said above, new pets are great joys.
