No smilely. I don't like to get into capacity conversations, but let's just say four drinks represents a mere fraction of my capacity, in an evening. It seems like a reasonable number to me.

Well obviously you over-estimated your "capacity"

Jeeze. If I had four drinks a night, three nights a week, I'd be a blithering idiot.

Oh wait...

Well, there's capacity, and then there's the impact certain levels have on your processing resources.

Either way, no more than four drinks in a night, no more than three days in a week, is my self-imposed goal.

Normal drinking for men is defined as:

An average of 4 standard drinks per hour
No more than 16 standard drinks on any one day
No more than 48 standard drinks over a weekend
One to two alcohol free days per week, when the money runs low.

Very sorry to hear that you have cause to make a change, glad you are being proactive though. Perhaps you will meet the VTR's resident gastroenterologist-hepetoligst some day. Funny guy. Very passionate about livers. ~ H

Just got to know that the BEC Higher exam will be in November and not like everyone said before in December. I'm on vacation the whole November so I have to wait until next spring/summer if I still want to take it. I wasted so much time in the lessons while my workmates went home.

Great so, you guys plan to use up database space that we pay for with a bunch of useless posts, in order to get into a forum where you'll have no idea of the context and attitudes of the guys discussing things, that you would probably be better off avoiding in the first place. Does it occur to anyone that there might be reasons for rules?
