The fact that I got laid off -- after a decade of working at the same company -- by a female manager who slept with her boss in order to get her job. There is no justice in this world, but there is Karma. And Karma's a humorless bitch.

Everyone is sleeping on my "Do you fear moderators?" thread. I felt pretty good about that one, too.

Life is NOT fair, this is true.

The silver lining is that you're better off not working at a place that works like that.

Thanks for the wishes -- I agree, I am better off not being there. Every workplace has its politics, but some places are worse than others I suppose.

Graduated in may with a bs in financial economics and haven't found a job someone fresh out of college can get yet. Oh and im in dc/md/va highest prospective job market in the states now lol. Also was seeing this girl for about a month and she went from hot to cold,pretty much left me in the wind... Shes had friends visiting on the weekends and working throughout the week, so obviously shes busy but stopped dropping the occasional txt she would do when she hadnt heard from me... I'll probably elaborate on a different thread later to see what u guys think I should do. My current job I've had throughout college is really annoying me, I'm tired of dealing with sick Pissed off ppl (work in pharmacy) /end rant haha

Basically, lots of college grads can't find jobs in their field. Get over it. As long as you're employed, regardless of whether or not the job requires you to "use" your degree, you don't really have a right to complain.

Going pretty well with a very nice girl last night, then one of my closest friend ruined it for me by coming over and acting all rapey and not leaving us alone for the rest of the night despite pretty clear messages from me and the girl. Found her on facebook this morning, properly cute. She is a friend of a friend so I might get a chance to take another shot but still. All I woke up with this morning was a wrecking hangover and loads of work to do. I am not really sure how it happened, I was fairly restrained and didn't touch the hard stuff. I feel like a serious hangover after only drinking beer is a little unfair.

I woke up with a raging hangover and had to go into work. I don't think I am going to drink gin for a very long time.
