Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW! - Page 5652
Nope. I got a mere 1/week cleaner to help the wife but her car should be a big "problem" along with every other car as well as mine. I like rules that are enforced consistently and equally. That's all. And yeah the 2garage folks do have more of the services parking. But I'm not jelly. Good for them. Just don't be a fucking hypocrite.
Uhh yeah I do realize that, of course. I basically said a much before since I want to get the car as far on to the property as possible, possibly entirely. But the general vibe in most hoods is most common usage. If you haaaad to stick a car anywhere, would you put it in front of your own place or one of your neighbors?
Congratulations on being the reason people hate renters.
"I don't have anything invested in this neighborhood, so fuck the people who do."
Yeah I'm just a renter. But I don't throw wild parties or wreck the place. I'd counter here that shit really hits the fan when an owner starts a monster reno. Lawsuits. Etc. Renters are mere tourists for a hood, long-term.
And "voluntarily associate with"? I didn't sign nada. No guidelines. Nothing. As far as I understand it's private property signed over on a legal agreement for full usage by me with all attendant rights and privileges.
"Community of like-minded people". Right. In the future I'm going to steer clear of such groups. Bow to the group or else. "Parking your car out front? Better check with the neighborhood gauleiter! He walks his dog past your place and you do *not* want to upset him."
I bought new kitchen appliances, and I got a call last week that they could deliver them on Monday (today) which is two days earlier than originally scheduled. They told me they would call again on Friday to confirm my delivery time, which they did. Today, I got a call from the delivery company "you didn't schedule your delivery out far enough, so we can't deliver until Thursday now."
The big reason I'm upset is they won't disconnect the old appliances, so last night I removed all my appliances and now they're sitting around for removal, so I don't have use of my kitchen for an extra three days.
Just odd to talk someone out of a promotion like this.
Is she capped out, or is there potential for a grade increase along with the promotion?
Promotions can be a weird beast in government. My boss got promoted last year (into a spot basically nobody else wanted). He was already capped out on salary, so he basically doubled his responsibilities and got a lot less attractive job duties in exchange for a new title.
