Well the executive I work under isn't a moron and he understands things as presented. It's the lawyers...

FWIW, I have these symptoms and I was told by a doctor that binge drinking can eat up your potassium, which causes these sensations and such. Trying eating some bananas and/or taking a supplement.

Nope, I don't drop things. I hope it's not Parkinson's, but it's certainly possible for younger folks and is called early onset parkinson's. I'm probably susceptible to it since it runs in my family.

Drinking exacerbates these symptoms like four-fold the day after. The slightest bend of my arm or leg will cause pins and needles very quickly and rather strongly. Bend it straight out and boom it's gone. So it must be a circulation thing. I thought it was more related to vitamin B-12 depletion after drinking. In any case, this goes away a day or two after. How does this present for you? Literally no one I know gets this and it's perplexing because my friends drink much more than me and much more often.

Now I just have this chronic easily-induced pins and needles thing that's developed over the past two weeks or so. I have a doctor's appointment booked tomorrow. We'll see what he says.

I don't get pins and needles, but I get twitchy the day after heavy drinking. The doc will probably get you you've got GRID though.

GF I read your symptoms with dismay; however, as you're a young man I am actually not worried one whit for ya.

My climbing gym is implementing some sort of gamification reward system. You earn points every time you check in/take a class/etc.

If they were just doing that, I wouldn't care...but one of the changes they made was changing the guest pass program. I used to get one guest pass a month. Now I will get unlimited guest passes for first-time visitors, but no guest pass that I can actually use for my friends. To get a guest pass for my GF (who doesn't climb enough to justify a membership) or a friend who climbs at another gym, I have to earn enough points in this stupid rewards program.

WTF. My friends at a rival gym in town get two guest passes per month. I pay less per month than they do, so I was OK with 1 pass a month...but now it is going to be more like 1-pass every other month. Need 20 visits to earn enough points, and I only go 2-3 times a week.

edit: I just noticed they give you a bunch of points for bringing in a first-time visitor. If they want to play this stupid game, then I am just going to go on craigslist and find people who want to try it out for free...bring somebody new every time I go and convert my shitty first-time guest passes into regular guest passes.

I just walked by someone that is so fat you could barely see the mobility scooter underneath her. She's wearing a nasal cannula for O2, has foley tube coming out of her shorts to a urine collection bag on the floor of her scooter. I feel very sad for her but I also feel very sad for us as we're paying for all this shit. There's no winner in this situation. frown.gif
