Everything else--maybe with the exception of subpar banquet steak--went really well.

But if that was the only hiccup, congrats!

We've got a pork loin roast in the slow cooker right now. We're going to cook it until it falls apart with a coke/brown sugar/chili/enchilada sauce and then shred it and eat it on tortillas.

It's really frustrating when people try to milk tragic events for attention, especially when it's a tragedy that affects others, too (like the death of a grandparent or relative). People like this get taken out of my newsfeed.

I honestly don't think she's consciously milking the situation. I think she is just so self-involved that she doesn't realize that all of her posts are, at heart, about her first and foremost.

Just a casual road trip to Carmel and then to Napa. Should be fun.

It turns out that jet lag and a windowless basement office are not a good combination.

So.

Tired.

I was fine going east, pretty much just stayed up 28 hours straight and was fine by the next day. But coming west and coming back into the office is brutal so far. Was easy getting up this morning but I'm dying by lunchtime.

Seems like no one ever does honeymoon in St. Louis what's up wth that? If I ever get married I probly won't do honeymoon in St. Louis because I live here not really much of a honeymoon. But others should definitely visit here after their nupchels.
