Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW! - Page 5524
I've started getting spam emails on my work account about some work from home shit (I can pass them along to you if you'd like Ed).
I know this is just some bot out there scraping contact information wherever they can find it...but I find it amusing that the advertised salary range is pretty small. Even though it is costless to send some extra emails, why would someone with a profile on a professional website (that likely pays several times what your scam-job is offering) ever sign up with you?
The people who will fall for a work from home scheme that promises it might even be able to start you at $30k a year are not going to have public contact information and resumes on the internet.
I really don't get it. It's really clear in people's profiles how many years of experience they have, how large their current roles are, and whether they lead people.
I have been having good luck with LinkedIn lately. I used to get non-stop spam for sales engineering jobs or account management or whatever based on my title, and it was clear the recruiters didn't read my profile, but in the last two months I have had three recruiters contact me about jobs that were relevant.
Good to see you guys are realizing how worthless all that crap is
I was actually goading biscotti into drinking himself into oblivion.
Please don't associate me with your "trapping don't matter" humanistic drivel. All "that crap" is the only thing that keeps us from being feral organisms.
You might want to rethink this position as I agree with it.
