Would the agents of the state give him a hand crafted creme pie?

Flew at a off-time last week (middle of the day on tuesday) and the TSA line was still 45 minutes long.

Actually in all seriousness is the TSA still pulling their shit of causing delays? I remember seeing an article last week of how Logan passengers were missing flights because the TSA was purposely understaffing the sec check lines.

I have a flight out of Logan on Friday.. 😡

Chicago seemed better, but they hadairline employees prioritizing people and doing "non-essential" security stuff.

I had a 10pm flight and the line was still 20 minutes. Then again it was 10 minutes to get my ID checked with only four people in front of me.

The TSA looked like they were all 75+. Who are they going to stop? They look like even if they could get up from their chair they couldn't catch a sloth.

Thank god I don't remember what it was like to fly before 9/11.

Fuck the TSA and they deserve all the criticism they get. But travelers are 50% of the problem. The rules have been in place for 15 years and you still don't know you have to take off your goddamn shoes, or not leave stuff in your pockets, or not take water bottles or cheese knives in your carryons, and all that shit.

At LAX they had only 1 of the 4 body scanners going and only one person checking IDs at the american airlines terminal.

fk the fact that I have to take my laptop and put it into a separate container all on its own (can't even be in/next to the laptop bag)

Can anyone else remember a time where you didn't have to take off the same stuff they do to a prisoner and could carry on food and beverages?

You can still do it in other countries. A colleague of mine brought some fish steeped in some kind of vinegar on a Chinese/HKG flight. The smell was glorious. They do draw the line at knives, though (as well as some unnatural fixation against lithium batteries)

Sometimes. I had a jar of honey confiscated as a "liquid" flying out of Budapest.

Will someone explain the liquid thing to me?  I am allowed 3oz containers of stuff up to 1 quart.  I'm willing to bet you can make a bomb big enough to cause explosive decompression with 1qt of liquid.  Hell, two 3 oz containers of an epoxy up against a window would probably do it.

^ Just ask a TSA agent next time you're flying duh

Imagine how long the lines would be if the TSA were forced to reliably catch security issues!
