A couple of days ago I was traveling through Sacramento on the way to Lake Tahoe on I 80 an 8 lane high speed city freeway . Traffic was moving about 65-80 . I was in a dead area about 15 car lengths back from a cluster. I saw taillights start to blink ahead so I backed off a bit . In the lane ahead of me was a semi, next to him a passenger vehicle in the fast lane , behind him a guy on a Harley. When the passenger vehicle hit his brakes the biker gunned it to shoot the white line between the car and the semi. I'm not sure of what caused it but as the biker was between the car and the semis trailer he lost it ,he and the bike went under the trailer in front of the rear wheels. After a flurry of violence I'll leave to your own imagination his ,by now very dead, body was thrown out and landed in the lane next to me about 20 feet ahead of me.Needless to say everything was coming to a stop by then. Afraid to hit my my brakes least I cause a pile up behind me I flew past the whole scene. As I traveled down the road stunned I began to wonder what the hell happened to the bike , well turns out it was trapped under trailer which was lucky for me because otherwise that 800 pound hog probably would have ended up in my windshield . Well if that don't make you hibbeldy-jibbeldy for a couple of days
Now I'm too jibbeldy to go for a ride on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. frown.gif

Sheesh...

I live on an island with a split tunnel for ingress/egress. Not too long ago I ran an errand on a Saturday am and right before I hit the darkness of the tunnel a fucking truck came out going the wrong way. Thankfully in the other lane but fuck not a great way to start the day.

Are there any other things Shaq can do to alleviate your pain and maximize pleasure?

I'm on bachelor duty tonight and so I parked myself on the couch and watched like five episodes of Daredevil on Netflix. Now my neck is all stiff from slouching on the couch for that long. I almost never watch TV but I was trying to kill an evening.

Get a tennis or cricket ball, stand against a wall og lay on the floor with the ball over the spot and move your body in small circles.

I don't think people with small children realize how god damn noisy they are. I got woken up by the kids 2 floors up running and screaming from 6:30 in the morning.

ON A FUCKING SUNDAY!!!

Where we were last night, at one point, a couple of Bubba-Gumps were allowing their brat to run around the place shrieking. This went on for about 10 minutes until a waitress, carrying three entree plates, tripped over the banshee. I'll start off by saying thankfully the banshee wasn't hurt (not it's fault the parents are putting no limits) but all three plates went flying. The Bubba-mother came running over to berate the waitress. The waitress started crying and the manager came over and then asked the Gump family to leave.

I was so happy.

For the last week or so I have been woken up at the break of dawn by the same kid yelling mommy for 45 minutes, until the mother gets her ass out of bed and shut it up.

The kid is at least two floors away from me.

Have they never heard of soundproofing where you live?

It's a concrete apartment building from the 50's, so no.

Ain't nobody having kids in my building (hopefully). All tiny one-bedrooms. My biggest problem is that our bedroom shares a wall with my neighbor's kitchen. Luckily this one doesn't make smoothies at 6am like the last one. (I am not a morning person. My wife & I generally work afternoons/nights.)
