Fatty on the cover of SPORTS illustrated, shouldn't it be someone who looks like she moves beyond the fridge.

The uproar over what Tiegs said from "real women" is pretty good.

Bothering me is I'm in line at the DMV.

Ashley Graham would be so hot if she lost like 30 pounds.

I looked up some pictures of that woman.

Honestly...I'd agree that she doesn't look particularly healthy. She looks way better than other women in her weight class, but I wouldn't call that an ideal weight at all.

I worked on a movie where Tiegs was nude and we had to add some body covering which meant rotoscoping her body frame by frame. Fun project.

This is the pic that changed young LD's life.

For me though, it was Elke Sommers, Joey Heatherton and Angie Dickinson.

That's the first picture that comes up on a google images search for her.

I'm just going to admit, that while about LD's age, I was not a Tiegs fan. Oddly enough I can't remember who I was a fan of at that time but I know it was not her. Probably the Sears catalogue.

Her face is pretty frightening even when she was young. Ashley Graham is definitely prettier.

Basically I want a good deal on an insulated jacket with a durable shell (lightweight down need not apply), no hood or a removable hood, has pit zips, fits, and preferably comes in blue (because my old jacket is blue and I am used to it).

That combination is proving difficult. I find a lot of 3-in-1 jackets that otherwise would work, but I am not a fan of the 3-in-1 jackets...
Otherwise, it seems like most of my options come with an attached hood.

I found this closeout rossignol jacket on STP, and it looks like it would fit my requirements. Doesn't say it has pit zips, but all of the other rossignal branded jackets I can find have them. Dirt cheap with a STP coupon, but no reviews and I am hesitant to buy branded outerwear from a non-clothing company. Reviews on other jackets are positive, except for the occasional bad review from someone complaining about quality control issues (which is my main worry).

How insulated do you need it to be? I bought a Peak Performance ski jacket last year that has enough insulation for most conditions out west, good waterproofing and breathability, lots of vent zips, and a removable hood. They're not an inexpensive brand but are well regarded and I've been really happy with mine.

So the fucking DMV. What a seething mass of people I worked all my life not to have to associate with.

I got there at 7:15 and it opens at 8. I was third in line. By 8 the parking lot was full and the line of humanity was wrapped all along the sidewalk and around the building. Just unwashed, stinky, noisy, fugly people. Half them with a smoke hanging out of their yaps. Ugh.

Damn commoners. Going to get their stink on my cashmere!

I feel you though. 45 minutes early? Damn.

What makes me shake my head the most it was obvious half the crowd had just rolled out of bed and that 8am was really early in the morning to them. Get a fucking job!
