My company rolled out Office 365 to welcome us back to work in 2016. It took about two weeks to install semi-correctly and still makes random changes here and there. The latest is the elimination of my Quick Launch menu on the task bar and the inability to go further down than one level of folders on the local drive.

Refusing to install iTunes is just common sense, though.

One of the things I dislike of life is shaving my visage. I have thought "hey maybe I should get laser hair removal to where I won't have to shave my visage no more!" But then I get to worrying like what if I have romantic encounter wake up in the morning partner be like "Hey how come you ain't got partial beard in the morning what the hell are you the kind of guy who eats Chobani?" I don't want that to happen.

The worst is when you dig yourself out, don't put a dibs chair in the spot, then come back to find someone else has claimed it. Bullshit.

Are 22-year-olds really still milennials? I'm on the Gen X/milennial cusp and I am quite a bit older than that.

A bunch of jackoffs are parking their cars on snowed-in streets without digging the snow out to the curb. So they're just parking in the middle of already narrow streets. Filthy swine. I hope they get side swiped by a trash truck or something.

There's never a firm cutoff, but "early 2000s" is the common one. Pretty much everyone in high school now is a Millennial, but I don't know about people younger than that. 22 should be pretty firmly Millennials, certainly the trends and attitudes of your prototypical "Millennial" are more in line with mid-20 somethings than those of us in our early 30s now.

We don't have any really obvious seminal events, aside from 9/11, so it's hard to pin a start or end.

So... Would GF be a millennial? Isn't he mid 20s?

I don't know about GF being a millennial, but he definitely has seminal events

I believe there's a firm cutoff for millenials. My understanding is it includes anyone that was a teenager at any point during 1999 and 2009.

I think a 20 year span was sort of defaulted in when they decided the Baby Boomers were 45-64. Then Gen X was 65-84. This would make the Millennials 85-04.

My only problem with not making this generation hit 2016 is we all know there's nothing later or greater than the Millennials.

Baby Boomers: firmly believe they changed the world and are the coolest generation ever.

Millennials: firmly believe they changed the world and are the coolest generation ever.

Gen X: told the world would end in nuclear conflagration before they were 30.

I guess technically I am Gen X then. I remember a world before cell phones and broadband Internet.

I remember watching Wall St. in the late 80s and thinking Gecko's brick Motorola was about the neatest thing ever.

.

The end of Gen X is pretty fuzzy. I'm early 80s, and there's definitely a period there where some people are more Gen X and some are more Millennial.

It's funny though, everybody loves to hate on the Boomers, but it seems like nobody is realizing that half the Millennials are the children of Gen X'ers. Gen X, ignored again.

I get that generations are supposed to be broken up by time from birth to reproductive maturity (so for people 18-20 years is probably practical), but I've never really agreed with what they set as the beginning of the millenial generation.

I was born in 1984 (which some sources count as millenial) and the world around me was quite different than even what my GF, born in 1991, was raised in and massively different from what my 18 year-old first-year students grew up in, yet we're all supposedly part of the same generation.

There are huge difference between early Boomers and late Boomers too.

The splits in the Millennial generation have a large amount to do with parenting culture (and partially the Gen X/late Boomer split I suspect). The helicopter parenting thing was just getting going for kids of the mid-80s, but ramped into an epidemic for today's college kids. I knew those kids growing up, but it sure wasn't my experience. Now you're some kind of freak if you don't live and die by the accomplishments of your kids.
