Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW! - Page 5323

So many entertainment icons have been passing away as of late. Just discovered that "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Iron Mike Sharpe has died.

Whenever people call me on the telephone or leave voicemail message, including even my closest friends, they always begin by saying "Sorry, I know you are busy but..." I must give people the impression that I don't ever want to talk to them on account of devotion to tasks.

I froze my tookus off in a college building which I had illegally gained access to today. (I am technically no longer a student yet my key card still lets me in to use the facilities, so to speak.) I wish they had more respect for those of us breaking and entering and would turn the damn heat on when the campus is closed.

And I'm like "Uh, ok."

Final multi-post:

I'm worried that my wife is prematurely becoming a sassy old lady (she's not actually an old lady I know someone will make that joke). She already had short hair, then she dyed it purple, and now she's binge watching "Murder, She Wrote." I'm fully expecting her to become a real estate agent and join a book club. Wut do?

You should probably off yourself if she follows up with a binge fest of golden girls.

Just sayin

Whatever you do don't let her buy a Lexus RX350. That will seal the deal.

Agreed. Van Veen should get his wife a McLaren P1 GTR instead.

Fair enough.  My wife's previous employer was open even though their clients generally weren't and the banks and government agencies she worked with were closed.  Seems dumb in that situation when it just lowers employee morale.

Do you find yourselves having dinner earlier and earlier these days?

Styleforum has been missing some of its superstar posters as of late I hope they come back before too long. I am talking about people like lasbar and Sir Rebeller and Kid Nickels.

Nickels has been poasting.  Maybe not to the frequent you are used to.

Nickels is out shopping for a custom bespoke scratchguard.

I was in transit today and decided to kill some time in a rather upmarket wine bar.

Kid was running around the place with a toy hammer, squealing and screaming like a whirling dervish and hitting random objects with said hammer. Parents beamed on in the glow of breaders enjoying the chaos wrought by their diminutive horrors. Makes one think favourably about eugenics.

The little ***k was really going John Henry:
