this week has been kind of stressful...Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I was staying at my empty assed house in CT getting it ready for the new renters. sleeping on inflatable mattresses, getting the final small things ready to move back to Nashville.
the renters at my house were happy that I left some old furniture (dressers/tables chairs/out door stuff/grill/ect) but then pulled a 180 and said they wanted to buy new furniture for a possible future house in the next year... so I had to scramble and find movers/storage (i tried to give my shit away and it was more of a hassle, ended up paying out the nose to movers/storage). Then my wife goes on a cleaning frenzy, and I keep pleading to her that she doesn't need to clean because I hired cleaners to come, but she's paranoid that the cleaners won't do a good job so she's cleaning the house herself anyway and I'm to tired and not stupid enough to try to argue about it.
then we load up the station wagon with a ton of unnecessary shit (enough to fill up the back an have no rear view) because the wife is a pack rat and we drive 14 hours back to nashville.
the day we arrive to the new house in nashville we hear our smoke alarm go off... its a carbon monoxide leak.... I call a guy and apparently the gas heater install was total shit and I need to have it totally reinstalled... thats 4 thousand bucks... Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
so I'm sitting in a motel near the house because its colder in Nashville at night than fucking Connecticut and well, there might be a carbon monoxide leak (even with the main line closed).

one good thing though the guy who's doing the repair comments that the gas heater and HVAC are supposedly the top of the line super efficient stuff, supposedly with a proper install gas and electric even in the dead of winter or summer wont go above $100/month fully blasting the heat/cooling in the whole house.
