I hate people who use dark blue font on text that isn't a hyperlink

I hate people without iPhones whose text messages are in a green bubble. Gross.

So if someone with an iPhone has green bubbles they're okay?

Who has an iPhone but doesn't use iMessage?

Cosigned. There are two people - a good friend and my brother - that insist on not having iPhones and fucking up all my group chats by forcing everyone else to communicate in green bubbles

Maybe you should just move off iPhones.  I don't have any green bubbles on my phone.

Well, this is really the difference between iProducts and the rest of consumer electronics. With iProducts you get a "curated" and highly controlled user environment (Apple will never not be the product of ultimate control freak Steve Jobs) whereas in the rest of consumer electronics you get less coordinated user experiences but the ability to customize to a far greater extent particularly if you root something (I know some iStuff can be rooted but I find it is rare the most current stuff is rooted and Apple goes to great lengths to thwart rooting on an ongoing basis for its most current stuff).

I'm on my second iPhone. It's a tool, it's a good tool, I don't have any self-worth invested (I find some folks actually seem to identify with which product they use) in it. I had a couple of Androids and enjoyed how I could modify my user environment, the open source nature of apps, etc. I find the Android experience not to be as amalgamated (for lack of a better word) as the iExperience as Android is spread across multiple hardware platforms which all get cludged and tweaked by the maker. Having a fractured market vs. the huge mono-market of iPhone creates a more handy tool, IMO.

That said I can see a return to Android. It is fun to play with, way more open source apps and customization, etc. It was about size and camera for me to go from the 5 to the 6.

Choice can be bad. It takes me days to find new wallpaper when I get the urge to switch. That's about as much customization as I can handle.

I don't disagree with this and it's why the iExperience fits for some people. It can also be time consuming, as your example indicates, which is why if a phone is just a tool that's a plus.

One of my reasons for selecting a phone is to be on the opposite side of the most trollable user base. For my personal entertainment. In my current experience, these are android users. Not that there aren't insane iOS users, but in my circle it seems the craziest and most irrational supporters are Android users.

I have one Android-fan friend who has gotten so incensed with very simple trolls that he only refers to me as "the lemming" now. It's immensely entertaining

You are so fucking full of shit ChiliinFool. You know damn well that Southerners don't say "damn" like some landed gentry-ass bitch. We say it "dayum".

Drives me nuts. Am I hired or not? Did you lose my email? Are you away from the office? Should I turn down conflicting work if I'm offered it? How hard is it to write back with a confirmation?

Yes, I truly wish there were some device, perhaps one to fit into a pocket that would give one mobile telephony or some sort of method to instantaneously communicate with someone... if only!

Android fanboys spend their whole day telling everyone how big fanboy apple users are and how much better their androids are, but they are not fanboys only apple people are.

I have the same view on electronics as piob, they have to work and work every time, as its a tool.
