I enjoy Starbucks Reserve Blends or whatever they're called.

I don't know about that. I usually receive it as a gift, to where I don't have to pay any money for it.

As I mentioned in another post, I did commencement today. The same thing happens every single time, to where I should be accustomed to it, but I'm not and I still get pissed off. Sometimes when a person's name gets called, his or her friends and family "hoot and holler." That's not the worst thing in the world, of course, even though they are asked not to do it. But sometimes they keep "hooting and hollering" to where they drown out the name of the next person. I teach at a school with a lot of first generation college students. For a lot of them and their families, graduation is a really big deal, and so it pisses me off when others are so inconsiderate.

I have to admit, when I graduated, my family did hoot and holler for me. They did not mean to be disrespectful, and got carried away in their enthusiasm.

Fortunately, the graduate who ascended the stage after me had the last name of "Wu", so he smiled and was very happy because he thought my family was supporting him too

eBay thinks I'm in Venezuela for some reason. I guess that kind of sounds like Chattanooga so I can't blame them.

Let one of my computers accept the upgrade from windows 7 to 10. Was assured that it was a fast and painless transition...everything just works and you don't have to do a complete format and reinstall like was recommended with previous versions of windows.

Now the motherfucker crashes every 5 minutes or so. Can't identify the cause and I don't have time to deal with this shit right now, so one computer is now useless until I can sit down and troubleshoot.

Did anyone chant WU TANG!

It would have been awesome, if they had introduced him "now entering the 36 chambers".

Sold 3 items on eBay this past week. 2 buyers canceled after winning.

eBay has this miraculous new thing where either the buyer or seller can cancel after the sale - but only the seller will be docked.

There's basically no incentive to not bid whatever now and if you don't like what you bid/were drunk/were a moron/wanted to be a dick - it's cool with eBay. If you're the seller, yeah, good luck.

Isn't this being changed with the upcoming new defect policy?

In Feb - the fact the morons implemented this in the first place is terrible. They're not some new startup learning the ropes.

I have an important event on January 11. I got a jury summons yesterday. I had a feeling before even opening it that it would be for January 11. I was right.

If you can be guilt-free, just use one the standard excuses - family matters, I don't understand english, or if you're being interviewed, just use the CE sub-fourum for inspiration on bias.
